# From Python

For readers who know Python. Each chapter sets the Python spelling on the
left and the Koskari spelling on the right, then says what changed. Read
in order; the later chapters lean on the earlier ones.

You need the [Quickstart](../../quickstart.md) done first. If the
parentheses look strange, chapter 2 of
[Little Koskari](../beginner/index.md) explains calling in plain words.

In a transcript, a line starting with `>>> ` is what you type at the
REPL and the line under it is what Koskari shows. A form that runs past
one line continues under a `... ` prompt.
